Strausswirtschaft Weingut Mohr in Lorch

We have just been to the Mohr winery with 6 people to have a drink. Before the entrance we were asked what we would like to drink. When we asked for a mild wine and an alternative drink (one of us is not a wine drinker) we were sent away with the words: "You are not our clientele" I've never seen such an unfriendly and rude innkeeper. But apparently he doesn't need our money. This economy is not recommended.

Top! Very good, ecologically grown and aged wines. Superb cuisine, with a varied menu and late in the evening, with the wonderful Saynur enjoying a 2018 Old Vine made the evening special. Another advantage is the good connection to public transport. Only a few meters to the train station. Here you are welcome. Thank you!

I have never experienced that in a bouquet business all seats are already reserved in advance. If so, then it is not in the classical sense of a Strauss economy. Normally, Strauss farms still have vacant seats available. The statement of the boss: "You should have called before, but you can buy wine," is in no way appropriate. An expression of regret does not come to her lips! If you are in the Rhine Valley, you do not know exactly where you will stop and therefore can not call before. This location should not be accessed spontaneously - certainly not if you have to travel another path, because then, as described, "shipwreck" suffers. Within the text on the homepage should therefore be clearly pointed out that you should reserve in any case or call ahead.

Tonight we enjoyed Riesling wines (Old Vines and First Growth) with Turkish specialties. We are very satisfied. Delicious food and attentive staff. That was really fun.

Fantastic wines meet fancy taste fireworks - 1001 Taste is not just a saying that is lived here. The winegrower family is hospitable and very committed, the restaurant itself enchanted by a beautiful ambience. All fits together. A perfect place for a little break from everyday life. Definitely take part in one of the Turkish cooking classes!

You feel right at home here. The decoration is tasteful with self-painted pictures and the service leaves nothing to be desired. Especially the Turkish delicacies of Saynur are worth a sin (by the way, you can try it yourself at cooking classes). Unfortunately, I can not judge the wine, because I do not drink; but the turkish mocha is great. So there are also people at their expense, which otherwise have rather little to do with wineries. Too bad that the opening times are limited.

I was eating in the enjoyment days with my parents in the winery of the winery. All the food we ordered, were delicious. The very nice service has competently recommended wines, all excellent. My parents took some more boxes with them. Highly recommended :)
